Design Consultation – Your architect has drawn up the initial plans and you would like an outside perspective on the layout, including how the interior spaces are working. Or, you’re working with a contractor and require a design representative to ensure design details are covered. Or, you have a general direction in mind but require assistance to pull together a clear vision and direction for your architect and builder.

Custom Cabinetry & Millwork Design – Nothing says special or signature in a home like custom cabinetry, built-ins and millwork. You have a general aesthetic in mind but when it comes down to the minutia you require design support. Your architect has specified a vaulted ceiling in your plan and now your contractor requires scaled drawings for trim detailing. There are door styles, finishes, hardware and moulding profiles to be considered. How will the surrounding characteristics of the space—panelling, baseboards, crown and trim profiles intersect with cabinetry design? Our relationship and experience working with contractor professionals and fine cabinet makers to design extraordinary spaces is a service we offer to those who value thorough pre-planning and design implementation.

Project Management – Our clients often find themselves overwhelmed by the details and decision fatigue during the building process. Issues can materialize during construction that were not anticipated at the architectural planning stage. If there is a technical challenge, designers tend to advocate for an overall solution, one that will not compromise interior planning. We partner with you and your building supervisor or particular tradesperson to work through those challenges, to manage the process and ensure that the outcome aligns with the overall vision.

Colour Counsel – There are a myriad of choices and considerations when selecting a palette that will create flow throughout your floor plans, complement exterior views, art, flooring, furnishings, fixtures and the light in the space. How does it relate to the exterior finishes and surrounding elements? We can help you plan an overall theme and palette for your renovation or build.

Furnishing Concierge – We find people welcome the support of consultation in choosing interior furnishings, lighting, artwork, and accessories for their homes. The process begins with understanding their overall aesthetic, sourcing visual examples, establishing furniture plans and coordinating the elements for a space. Our supportive role varies depending on how much or how little clients require our involvement.

Outside In | Landscape and garden planning

Landscape Design | Garden Plans – Working off your lot survey, architectural drawings or site plan, we can help you map out a detailed topographical layout plan to create the property of your dreams.

Concept Drawings – More than once we’ve heard a client say, “I have to see it before I can understand it, or buy into the idea.” Rough sketches or marker renderings of elevations for vision casting ideas are a great way to define your dream and a necessary step in planning. We’ll supplement these with found images to help clarify the concept.

Architectural Garden Structures – When you need a custom built structure in your garden or on your property we can design that for you. i.e., fence work, pergolas, arbours, trellis, decks, sheds, etc.) Maybe you need just a concept, a scaled mechanical drawing for the carpenter or contractor, and someone to manage the project for you. We can be involved as much or as little as you need us to be.

Plant Selection – Servicing the GTA and Southern Georgian Bay and some places in between. Do you need someone to manage your landscape project, shop plant specimens for you, or maybe arrange delivery to your property

Garden Check Up – Meeting on your property in person is ideal. When possible, depending on your proximity, we can schedule an on site visit to discuss your landscape and garden. It’s the best way to assess your needs and challenges. This would be an advisory and consultative service initially. Depending on what is discussed an estimate would be prepared for the work agreed to. If you’re further away or unable to meet, we can always schedule a Zoom meeting or FaceTime.
