I’ve visited Italy a few times, but had never made it to Venice. Well, my new favourite city in Italy. Venice is one of the most uniquely beautiful cities I’ve ever visited for a whole bunch of reasons, but for the purposes of this post, the gardens were extraordinary.
While I didn’t get to see them all by any means, over the few days we explored this city of canals I certainly enjoyed many of the public ones and even had the pleasure of sneaking a peak at a few of the private courtyard gardens as well.
In terms of public garden parks; The Borges Labyrinth, Greenery Maze at San Giorgio Maggiore Gardens, Giardini Pubblici, l Giardini della Biennale, Giardini della Marinaressa and Giardini della Papadopoli were most memorable.
Here are a few highlight images of the gardens I saw and if you haven’t been to Venice, you must.
