A Sthe largest property we’ve designed and built to date, Forestwood took its inspiration from a colonial Georgian or Federal style with six garden areas in the English tradition. From inside out, not a square inch was overlooked and the result was as gratifying as it was exhausting. The property took much research and thought in terms of authenticity and spacial planning. By the third year the gardens looked surprisingly mature. Partly because of the existing 26 established trees, as well as planting larger scale to mid-sized shrubs and trees to supplement them.

It took us two years to plan and build. We lived in the original bungalow before construction began to better understand the lighting and layout of the lot. After five years we sold our dream home to complete a new dream at Forsythe.
